Hi guys, I just got my first tube amp (dynaco st-70). It is all original except for brand new tubes. It has old "Black Cat" capacitors on the board, so I'm guessing its quite an old amp. It sounds great and everything works properly. However, I can't help but thinking it may need to be serviced given its age. Would you guys recommend me taking it to a local tech for a service/checkup? Since the old dynaco sounds so good now, it makes me wonder if I should just keep it all original and forget about recapping or other work until it has an issue. What do you guys think? Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but this is my first tube amp and would like advice. Thanks.
