Dynaco ST-70 Interconnect Options

    It's too bad you don't want to replace the input RCAs. They suck! Don't forget, the Dynaco's cost-cutting measures can easily be replaced. The original RCA jacks are made of "tin" with only a plastic ring in the middle.

    The very first thing I did was disconnect the 470k resistors, the hookup wire, unscrewed the IC, bent the original RCA jacks until they broke off, enlarged the little IC board (but routed the holes wee further apart) and used simple Radio Shack gold RCAs. I think the whole thing took me 20 minutes.

    OR, you can get L-angle RCA plugs? That would help using wide-booted interconnects....
