Last night I listened to the Mofi vinyl and the Mofi gold cd versions of One Way Out. I think the vinyl has better relationships between the instruments. The band is more together, has better stage presence. But the cd reveals more about the individual sounds, i.e., more information on the tone and timbre of Duane's guitar. Gutsier, edgier, sharper and not as sweet. A real surprise. Comments, please?
Polydoor vinyl (reissue) I liked, and although the experience is very different, the DTS CD from Miller Co/Mofi offers a great experience of Allman's Fillmore set.
