Today I got 2 e-mails both telling me that a "suspicious buyer" has had his account terminated and his bids on my auction have been cancelled. But the auction ended over two weeks ago and the item has been payed for, shipped and delivered.

Should I expect any future bad news about this transaction? Anyone had this happen before?

I would suggest contacting eBay directly with the facts in this matter and hear what they have to say. It is very unusual. What does the transaction say directly on your eBay account?

Sounds like you dodged a bullet, if he is shady then at the very least he can't make an eBay claim against you and assuming you followed the PayPal rules you should be fine, I wouldn't worry about it, although I believe PayPal have a six month claim window so keep all documentation just in case.

I see. If everything's in order with Paypal I agree with @Dubmart in that you should be fine.

I've gotten a couple of those emails in the past. I simply deleted them. They are a phishing scam that leads nowhere. They're not traceable and the so called buyer doesn't exist.

The description I gave you above is what happened to me. I did get another email like yours with it being paid, shipped and delivered and then "canceled." I forget how it came about, but ebay explained that the bidder cannot take any recourse with you or your account, (like a dispute or leaving negative feedback) You shouldn't have any problems.
