Ebay - MFSL 250 new cd's

No affiliation but if this was more affordable..... 250 new cd's..... Way out of my price range.....

I often wonder about the buyer for these type of auctions. Someone would obviously be buying it to collect, rather than play (since they're sealed). Would they be expecting this to go up in value and sell? Or just sit on the shelf to admire?

 

Good question. I've never seen one of these large lots sell.

 

i guess if money was no object (like if i was a rock star), this wouldn't be a bad purchase.

 

The link below had the whole MFSL gold cd set complete a few weeks ago....AS wanted $8,000.00......it stated that for their asking price it worked out to $43.00 a CD. I wonder if that is the exact set we are seeing here on eBay now? I guess they sold the set as it is no longer available at AS......

That's nuts. I remember years ago on eBay someone sold a complete MFSL gold disc collection, and that ended below $3000. Ah, those were the days.

 

Huge prices. Interesting, how much this lot will cost after next 5 years? For today this lot is overpriced, 170 buks for all MFSL titles,even sealed is nuts.

 

I had printed up the ad from Acoustic Sounds and just found it, they wanted $12,500.00 not $8,000.00. They had 263 titles and 130 were still sealed.
