Not sure how I feel about this, the series lost a bit of steam near the end and I don't know what other story needs to be told...

That's great. Maybe they'll have some new characters. Ari is the essential here. The other guys just remind me of the Bowery Boys - in a dull way.
My last boss was just like Ari. I dropped him like a bad friend.

Someone told me that working for MCA back in the day was like working for Ari.

Yeah, I don't get this flogging a dead horse concept. Then again, I didn't run out to buy my Sex in the City movie tickets, either.

Liked the show, but don't see it as cinematic enough to warrant a film, or wide-appeal enough to be very successful in theaters. I firmly believe that the masses aren't interested in movies about movies, they just wanna watch movies, ya know?

While I enjoyed ENTOURAGE while it was on, I'm not sure anyone else I know watched it. Seems like the kind of thing that might do OK in NY and LA and play to mostly-empty theaters elsewhere.

I am in. My friend and I were addicted to this show when the DVDs came out and we felt the story wrapped up too quickly.

Hope we get a few more stories out of the show.

Can't wait to see the further adventures of Ari Gold. As far as I'm concerned, Jeremy Piven was the show: the most detestable, flawed, nasty side of Hollywood agents, and yet with a vague semblance of real emotion and (sometimes) a conscience.

I loved the show so maybe they can pull it off...

I'm thinking several big name guests for the movie....

Too many guest stars were a distraction on the last season.

Once this and Clerks 3 get released, I can die a happy man.

That's how I feel. It was on fumes the last few seasons and didn't leave me with any thirst for more. Can't see me bothering to buy a ticket and go to the theater for this unless it just gets unbelievable reviews. I'll wait til its airing on HBO.

So this gets a movie, Sex & The City got TWO movies, and we still can't get one for Deadwood? :realmad:

I'm VERY excited about this. This was one one of my very favorite shows.

Personally, I hope the movie does so well that they bring back the series. They brought my OTHER favorite show (Dallas) back as a series so anything is possible if there is Money involved!

All actors are locked up now and filming in January.

I passed up a Entourage Blu-ray complete series set for $80 last week.

I have the DVDs and Blu-rays of the final 3 seasons. I don't need to see Turtle in HD the first few seasons was my reasoning for putting the box back.

The old season sets have little worth on the used market.

Cool! When TV shows spin off into a movie, it's usually a big "wow" to see the characters in a big budget setting. Entourage on TV always did a lot of outdoor scenes on location and managed to look big budget, so the movie teaser doesn't have the same "wow" effect. Except they put in money to show off what Vinnie's movie looks like.

The fake movie does look like it could have cost $100m+. The Yatch scene(s) don't look cheap.

All the core cast and secondary actresses appear present.

Cameos from Billy Bob, Mark Wahlberg, Haley Joel Osmond, female MMA fighter, Medellin director guy, and famous DJ who looks vaguely familiar.

I think Billy Bob and Jeremy Piven are having a contest to see who has the best rug. Actually looks like a fun film, but I liked the show, too.
