I'll never forget an episode of "Wings" where Lowell the mechanic was watching McHale's Navy on TV and said "Dont ya think he's sexy?". After that evertime I saw Mr Borgenine in something I'd chuckle over that. I know he was 95 but jeez, it seems like another one is leaving us every week now...

  17. RIP, amazing actor, loved him throughout his long career.

The article did mention him voicing Mermaid Man, but didn't mention his role in Firefox.

1962-1966, McHale's Navy's was a every week watched show for me.

Big RIP, a very good and underrated actor and a heck of a nice guy.

I watched McHale & his gang of "meatballs" every week...enjoyed Airwolf too & so many other performances! The last time I saw him in a film was in "Red" a couple years ago - good movie btw. 95 - what a run! Thanks Ernie!
