Okay, someone start a new thread with this then, because R.E.M.'s digital catalog is expanding with these collections soon:
    http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Rarities-I-R-S-1982-1987-R-E-M/dp/B00K9ACK7W
    http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Warner-Bros-Rarities-1988-2011/dp/B00KB59UNC

I would prefer compact disc releases for both of these!

It's called Fairport Unconventional, and it's spectacular.

EDIT: And it looks like it's still available from Free Reed (http://www.free-reed.co.uk/frqcd35) at the ridiculously cheap price of 20 quid, maybe even including the extra fifth disc!

A Madonna box set is long overdue. I just hope when one is finally released, it will contain all the original single mixes. It'd also be nice if the original album mix of "Burning Up" was included rather than the video mix that replaced it on subsequent pressings. I don't think the original mix has appeared on CD before.

There was a 2 cd set back in the 1990's called "Houseparty". Hard to go wrong with that one.

I have it. Just not large enough. It needs more outtakes and live stuff and the rest of the non-lp b sides.

Snow has been exhaustively box-setted by the good folks at Bear Family records, and Arnold and Bare both have box sets in the Bear Family catalog.

    Cyndi Lauper, I don't think she has a a box-set with or without b-sides/rarities.

It's great to read there are other Amiee Mann fans. I don't think I've ever met an Amiee fan in person, however online there are so many considering she isn't "pop". To get off-topic for a moment (my apologies), she should have won the Oscar and the Academy should really honor her Magnolia Soundtrack music with some-kind-of achievement award.
