Maybe not love, but definitely a major distraction from the featured artist. A friend of mine is in total agreement. We both prefer the brunette.

And Taylor Mills, yes same problem.

What harmonies? I have to watch the DVD again. I didn't really pay attention to her voice.;)

I like the two back-up singer/dancers on the Moody Blues at Red Rocks DVD.

Offhand, I recall that Emm Gryner backed up David Bowie on one of his tours, five to ten years ago.

  11. You mean the video for "Automatic"? She was never really in the band.

Then again, most of the band weren't on the albums!

She didn't sing on the 1999 LP?

  13. Check out her solo album which IMO is one of the best Paisley Park releases!

    :righton:

(I had a longer response about her being on the album & being in the video vs actually being in the band etc but decided to concentrate on the positive which is her solo album)

  15. Thank god!

I thought you were going to say Pat Peterson which while fine as she was (and I'm sure pretty, pretty wild in private) I just could never get into her so over the top sexual gyrations while singing backup for both Tom Petty and John Mellencamp.

Often her moves seemed to me pretty inappopriate when done regardless of the song being performed.

Then again the fact that you used the word "wild" to describe the person you mentioned makes me wonder if you are maybe talking about Pat Petterson after all!

You're probably right ,mate. At my age you start to mess up things. Thank you, and give Miss Pat a kiss.

.....no way, I checked and she was Carol Sue Hill. The white girl.

I reckon another one that made me shiver. I don't remember her name, but she was with Bruce Hornsby in his Night on The Town dvd, along with Garcia, Shawn Colvin and others. With Shaun Murphy they made a nice pair. A remarkable nose in a remarkable body.

Hmm . . . . Kate Markowitz would seem to be a likely candidate. Great singer, too.

I had a thing for the Lickette on the left, Maryann Price. Was thrilled to see her again with the Kinks a couple of years later. She's singing the blues in Austin now and still looks great.
