Reason I ask is yesterday I went into my bank to revive a dormant bank account. They insist on face to face meetings which is novel in itself. The young man who I met asked me about the account etc etc and it soon emerged that I used to sell records and CD's for a living. We got chatting and before long he asked me about favourite music, and the name "Frank Zappa" passed my lips, along with the slightly ageist statement "I don't suppose you've heard of him" Imagine my suprise to hear that not only that he had, but that he used to be the drummer in a Zappa tribute band. I still remember him writing down the URL for zappa.com! There's hope for the future if appreciation for Zappa's music has passed to the next generation. Maybe you have a vaguely similar tale to tell?
