Every Color Of Cardigan Mister Rogers Wore From 1979–2001

As a kid I no-fooling used to dream of having a closetful of zip-front cardigans just like my idol Mister Rogers.

My friend Tim who runs The Neighborhood Archive (A Mister Rogers' Neighborhood information archive) just sent me this article today- I love it.

 

I come across video clips of Mr. Rogers on youtube from time to time and am forever in awe of that man and his message.

 

I like that the show was low-key- I even liked that about it when I was 5.

 

A big part of my childhood. Whenever he'd leave the house I'd go and ask my Mom if I could go with him. I especially liked his trips to the music store.

 

Yeah! I liked when he would "take us" places or show us how things were made via Picture Picture.

 

The show also featured live background music for every episode.

This was my introduction to Jazz Piano at the age of about 3 or 4 and I loved it from the moment I heard it.

 

They do look very comfortable and warm. His mother made all of the sweaters he wore on the show by the way.
