A self compiled Die Ärzte Singles Collection 1984-1989 with CBS Logo, based on the Depeche Mode singles compilation. I'm gonna make some "new" Beatles album covers now. Won't be long...
Your 'Past Masters' cover takes me to the idea of 'How would the early 1967 album look like before there was a Sgt Pepper concept, and with the inclusion of Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane' and stuff.
I had a similar idea with this one before I prefered to take the photo from the 2009 remaster booklet back side.^^
I wasn't sure if I had to include a three man picture (Sahnie or Hagen) or not... I just took one from the mid 80s. A great outtake from the third album photo sessions.
Thanks!! But ooh, no, the original UK album cover is perfection. The album title is almost invisible, looks like a "half" homage on early Stones album covers.^^
The font on the first two artworks, escpecially picture 1, let me think that this would be a late 1970s LP re-release. Or maybe an early 1990s CD variant. I like it!
Here is a link to a plethora of fan made deluxe booklets for every KISS album through Sonic Boom - the basic front/back/included artwork is the same but what's been added to each makes for some of the best fan-art I've ever seen... The KISSFAQ - Digital Booklet Archive »
Your posts just confirm what we already know, mega fans of an artist should always be involved when record companies are putting together archive releases. Not only for the track listing but for the packaging also. Stunning.
I left off tracks that have no differences to the album versions. 'King of the Mountain' is the same from album to single. That's also why there are no B-sides to the first two singles, because they were just LP cuts.
