  2. I wouldn't be able to sit through the T.V. show now, but I watched the Christmas reunion movie a few weeks back and I was very surprised with how good that was.

Where? I saw it when it aired originally, but have never seen it repeated anywhere.

I've been watching the show on Antenna TV and I've been enjoying it quite a bit. It's really the first of it I've ever seen.

And, in fact, Billy Gray was the kid in "Day The Earth Stood Still" way back in 1951.

I remember seeing an interview with Billy Gray not too long ago where he said he (surprisingly) still had his "Father's Know's Best" earnings, as he "squirreled them away" when he was making them.

I always thought Andy Griffith should have hung onto Eleanor Donahue when he dated her in Mayberry. Helen Crump was a grouch.

Billy Gray made a nice investment in his home he lives in.
When I use to go see speedway races he raced in a few back in the day.

I used to watch that show all the time on reruns in the early to mid 70s. Loved it, but even then I sensed something almost surreal about it. Husband and wife in different beds, lack of non-WASPs, no real strife, etc. Still, it was pretty good.

Happened upon an episode on Antenna this past weekend. Like finding an old friend.

GetTV will be showing a few times this month- we watched it this past Sunday afternoon. I think they have two or three more viewings scheduled before Christmas.

Ron Howard may be the last living left from Mayberry.

I think a perfect night of television (for me anyways) would be this line up...

    Father Knows Best
    Leave It To Beaver
    The Donna Reed Show
    My Three Sons

Ok, I stand corrected. I'll swap out My Three Sons for Ozzie + Harriett!
