Dancing in the Dark —Springsteen —any of the three extended versions. Also, many Radio Clash 12inch (my first) has always been a favor.
Hey, I just discovered this one. Spotify, Apple and APrime music apps have it for streaming/downloading. Course, there are everlasting argument over where "true" house music was born (New York or Chicago). But it's good to hear these old extended mixes, whichever.
The 12 inch mix of Scandal is great indeed. Much more power compared to the album version. The extended version of Breakthru is great indeed.
There weren't many Clash remixes, but what there was, was choice. Here's my fave: Clash-Mustapha Dance
Warning: Not one for the Metal-Heads. Had a partial tune in my head the past few days, which I know is to be found amongst 1991 cassettes mixed by Graeme Park, although not sure on the precise dates. So rather than sifting through cassettes trying to locate / identify the tune, Youtube had the answer, hurrah! Big thanks to the uploader ‘outy1978’ Boom, Boom, Boom
My favorite 12" singles: Big Audio Dynamite - "The Bottom Line" New Order - "Temptation" Kon Kan- "I Beg Your Pardon"
And one of the few case (Kon Kan) where the vinyl is easier and cheaper to source than the pro-cd single
Un-official. I have it tagged as 'Alpha Conspiracy' remix. (I think I grabbed it from the old Twins forum years ago) Which if true would be one of Andrew Sega's (Iris) remixes. Not sure and I doubt it. It wasn't tubed so I figured I'd up it. Cocteau Twins-Heaven or Las Vegas (Alpha Conspiracy Remix)
One of my favorites, as well as many of the 12" mixes that were created from their catalog in the 80's-early 90's.
Got around to upping it- Steve Winwood- Don't You Know What the Night Can Do? (Extended 12' Mix), 1988 -Tom Lord Alge
The John Morales & Sergio Munzibai remix of Jocelyn Brown's "Somebody Else's Guy". I'm not sure it's ever been on CD/digital from a mastertape.
