    Yes Grant, I too like the spoken words! Brings back all kinds of memories.

    BTW, I don't recall hearing the song in 67/68, but do remember it in 72. They always played it while I was riding home in the school bus from Middle School in Palm Desert, CA. Brings back great memories, so it gets my vote! :0)
