I'm not sure if this has been done before. Just thought it'd be a fun subject. :)
You got any favorite album covers/photos from the 80's? Comment here!

I'm sure there are favorite album cover threads but not specific to the 80's. But hey, since you asked. :D

No idea why I picked these. Sometimes it's just the album relates to great times/memories.

Sometimes the cover needs no explanation. :)

Most of the time I just thought it was a great image.

Sorry Phil, I like "No Jacket Required" but it will never be on my great 80s lp covers list(it's horrible), now that's out of the way, here are three:

    StandingInTheDark_(Platinum_Blonde).jpg
I have the Platinum Blonde here; it's a good listen.
    Definite  to this.

  18. Gaah, it's not a favourite, but in terms of covers there were few more '80s...

  19. I'll second this, songs like "It Doesn't Really Matter" and "Standing in the Dark" hold up fairly well as examples of commercial "new wave" pop...examples which betray their stint as a Police cover band quite plainly, but still!

Agreed. For me, the best song from the lp is "Sad Sad Rain".

  22. This is one of the few album covers I'd call legitimately nightmare-triggering. From 1986...
