To freaking hard to pick only one and it's killing me!

 

City Of Industry.
Crap movie title ' but Harvey Keitel kicks royal ass in this crime thriller.

 

I separate things out into the forgotten action adventure genre, swashbucklers etc. so many of the previously mentioned I don't really consider "action films".
There is one however that so towers above the rest that it must be mentioned any time the words action and movie are in the same sentence.
That picture is Hard Boiled. Greatest action film that will EVER be made. Woo's epic, a triumph of balletic gunplay and character, and so unbelievable that it redefined everything for me in terms of action.
