I will choose one and one only. On The Rumour's first solo album Max (story about the album title can be found at Wikipedia) and produced by the lads and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, they did a great cover of a Duke Elington/Bob Russell song, most notably sung by the likes of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald: "Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me" - The Rumour, accompanied by Albie Donnelly on Tenor, Bob Robertson on Alto, Dick Hanson on Trumpet and Danny Ellis on Trumpet.
Joe Cocker - "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window" Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 - "Fool On the Hill" The Rockets - "Oh Well" Led Zeppelin - "Dazed and Confused" Blue Cheer - "Summertime Blues" Beatles - "Money" Elvis - "Good Rockin' Tonight" Three Dog Night - "Mama Told Me Not To Come" Love - "My Little Red Book" Deep Purple - "Hush"
"So Long Baby" by Joe G. And The Zippity Doo Wap Band A great cover that I like as much as the original.
"(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by DEVO A complete reworking of the original that I like much better.
Just got this one today: I'm referring to the version recorded for Who Stole the Hot Sauce? album in 1996.
Bonnie Raitt's cover of the INXS song... Need you tonight. And her version of the Talking Heads Burning down the house. Bonnie Raitt - Burning Down The House
