Favorite hype stickers from LP / CD shrink wrap and covers*

Elvis Costello's This Years Model's "Free Album with This Single" is perhaps my all time fave that I've personally never seen any where else. Lucked out on this one on ebay a long time ago, totally by chance. It really adds to the tongue-in-cheek humor of the cover, I think. Anyone else have one of these in the original shrink?

The Raspberries sticker that I have is stuck directly on the album and still smells like raspberries after almost 40 years.

OK, I'm showing more than just the sticker with this one -- I'm also showing the full cover and the limited-edition, blue marbled vinyl that the sticker is promoting. The blue disc is just to cool looking to show only the sticker...

Oh Yes, that scratch and sniff sticker from the first Raspberries album. I've had mine for over 30 years and it still has its scent.

 

My favorite LP sticker...a big, black "$3.99" on a yellow, round background. Those were good days (and almost a week's allowance in 1969 at thirteen or fourteen).

 

Gotta love this one.
