I'm a sucker for hype stickers. I nearly bought a copy of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown that had the hype sticker for "Fire" on it at a record show yesterday. I don't have a lot of records with the shrink and sticker still intact, but here are a few:

This is my favorite. Funny how "Go Your Own Way" was pushed as the single - never mind all the other songs that would go on to become classics!

Here is a sticker that came inside the record. Technically it is still unpeeled, but I was able to temporarily stick it on the front cover. Did anyone ever see this attached to the shrink wrap?

And of course a sticker more truth than hype:

    I've always liked this one.
It is a 9 track, 60 minute album. One or two tracks per side.

That was a good price on Jamming with Edward. Most albums were DM 22 around that time, weren't they?

You're right, this was a "special price".

I think the Aussie Jamming With Edward had $3.99 printed on the cover.

Didn't the original pressings of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" have a clear sticker? I seem to remember peeling it off the shrink wrap and sticking it to the cover. I think it looked like this:

The group SNATCH supplied a sticker so one could do a DIY cassette version of their version of the old Coasters record "Shopping For Clothes"

This was on the Waitresses' marble colored "Bruisology" LP
    Sticker 6053.jpg

And attached to A Certain Ratio's "Kether Hot Knives/Knife Slits Water" 12" on Factory
    Sticker 7054.jpg

Not so much a sticker as a band that went around the whole "Lowlife" LP, a nice graphics touch:

Always loved the gold-foil stickers that were so popular in the late 70s....
