In this band I’m guitar and lead vocals on half the songs. We play 60s, 70s and 80s covers.

I play guitar all the time and share lead vocals with the other guitar player. However, I do play bass in the worship band at church.

You look like you’re having a lot of fun playing that guitar in that picture. :)

I've had an appointment for the last couple of years on Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm for Fuzzbox! on Louisville's WXOX (streaming at www.artxfm.com). Sadly, Sister Fox and Professor Reilly who programmed the show announced this last Thursday that after 5 years it was their last show :( . Luckily, they archived a bunch of their shows on Mixcloud at FUZZBOX!

As it happens, though, my second favorite show on the station, Flanger Magazine, is still on Sundays from 2 to 4 pm EST and in fact is playing right now.

We do have fun. We originally formed back in 1982. We ranged in age from 15-18. A couple years ago we got back together just for the fun of it and we’ve been playing ever since. Of course we are all in our 50s now.

I don't wish that on anyone. But it is fun.

That's been the same show every Saturday night for 25 years. The only thing that's changed is they consider Bon Jovi Classic Rock now, so he gets in the house party, too.

Yeah - a few of them - writing original material. That was the 90's.
Today I do the praise band thing at church. Though I continue to write on occasion.

Sid Mark, Sunday With Sinatra. WPHT 1210 am in Philly. The show has been on the air for 61 years (he used to have another show on Friday night...Friday With Frank). Sid is getting up there in age and the commercials for health supplements, estate planning and casinos are annoying, but it's comforting to know it's still going..at least for 4 hours a week.

    He's still doing that? WOW.

I used to listen to him on KABL-AM in San Francisco 20 years ago, and he was already old then!

    That's really weird.

WMBR Cambridge at MIT has a Breakfast of Champions show weekdays 8-10 AM, Modern rock, and there is a show called "For Your Pleasure" on Sunday nights at 10, Slow Jams, Jazz, and dedications.

Mostly guitar and piano too. Sometimes bass if needed.

    Do you play anything?

KSDS/Jazz88.org during the weekday lunchtime hour - I tune in to listen to the "Portrait in Jazz" show where each day a different jazz artist is showcased.

The "DJ", Joe Kocherhans, hosts the show with history, discography/song tidbits of the artist.
