An absolutely awful movie, but I do like Dave Grusin's soundtrack

The Departed OST is pretty good, what with the Roger Waters / Van Morrison duet, Baby Blue (pre Breaking Bad), Let It Loose, Sweet Dreams.

The payback was also intended to be a soundtrack but was seemingly rejected.

I've been playing this quite a bit lately on original French LP pressing. The film was always a favourite but I forgot how great the original LP soundtrack was.

Another vote for Knopfler's Local Hero, up there with his soundtrack for The Princess Bride

It was watching One From The Heart on TV in 1984/85 got me into Tom Waits. I dread to think how much that soundtrack has cost me over the past thirty years.

This isn't my favourite but it is good and quite an unusual release, I bought it from the artists own website in Australia following a recommendation, it's from a 1973 surf movie called Crystal Voyager. The soundtrack is by G Wayne Thomas and the Crystal Voyager Band, here's Gypsy Shoes. There's some other music in it too by an outfit called Pink Floyd.

  19. I have quite a few movie soundtrack CD's and albums. I listen to certain songs from each here and there but rarely the entire album. I would say I listen to the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack the most...so "Pulp Fiction".

Just wish they were able to put all music featured in the movie on the cd. Had to make my own playlist up featuring all.

You can't go far wrong with Lalo Schifrin, or Lamp Shillings as my autocorrect tried to rename him.
