    The Third Man soundtrack album is also great. Side 1 of the London LP has Anton Karas's material and Side 2 has more zither music from Fritz and Jacky, and then there is the very thorough Jasmine CD of Anton Karas's best work including all of the key music from the soundtrack and tons more.

    I'm not sure why (maybe what I was ingesting in the '81) but John Carpenter really got my attention with "Escape From New York". (As did Adrienne Barbeau)

    As I mentioned, this is a must have CD for anybody collecting classic soundtracks with 25 tracks of all Anton Karas, this is a better listening experience than the London LP.
