For the Peckinpah fans, I highly recommend "Noon Wine" which was Sam's favorite. Per Oscarsson is one of my favorite non-English actors, although all of this is in English. The video was on YouTube in full a few months ago or so.

Noon Wine was released officially on BD, as a bonus feature on Twilight Time’s 2014 limited edition of The Killer Elite. It was quite a coup for Twilight Time, and was the cause of much excitement in the Peckinpah community, even for those of us who had owned a bootleg copy of the B&W dub for years. The Twilight Time release is now OOP, and no other territory has issued Noon Wine officially, making this BD exclusive highly desirable.

But yes, great little film. Good performance from Olivia de Havilland, also.

I think I found it on YouTube a year ago... It might be my favorite, (with "Straw Dogs").. Per Oscarsson is a great actor, too (especially in "Svalt")

Here are a couple of lighthearted ones: Flim-Flam Man, The Rievers. I always watch them when they are on.
