"Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring" some incredible live versions out there. Debut album is my favorite album though.

I didn't realize most (or perhaps all) of the previously released 45 sides on Last Exit were remixed for that LP. As already mentioned, the mono 45's now given a stereo mix are the most obvious differences.

Fortunately, someone's posted them on YouTube. Check out the false ending on "Medicated Goo" at 2:30 (lost on Last Exit due to the addition of instruments filling in what should be silence):

And here's "Shanghai Noodle Factory" which doesn't sound nearly as different as previously posted - it's clearly the same performance, but in a much drier mono mix with more flute popping up in various spots: Traffic - Shanghai Noodle Factory - 1968 45rpm

Shoot Out and Low Spark are both superb albums and my favs by far. To pick a best track on these records is very difficult for me. Maybe the title tracks I dunno.

I learned that on this forum, and bought the original 45 since they aren't on CD. Funny, my incredibly small vinyl collection is mainly Traffic related. I also have a Jim Capaldi single, on account of the piano version of Whale Meat Again not making it to CD, and Reebop's Island album.

Terrific, Jim Capaldi yelling and more guitar from Steve Winwood, I'm going to have to buy that 45.

Certainly not, this is what it literally stated:
"...I have to ask: is it me, or is Julie Driscoll possibly one of the worst singers ever to grace a rock album? I'm not sure I can ever listen to Open, Definitely What and Streetnoise again. Talk about grating."
I do not concur but it is clear to me that she is much stronger on personality than technical skills. Love her!

both of those have that cool, dark rainforest feel to them, as does the title track.

I don't know that I have a favorite Traffic song, but I will say the one that whenever I play it takes me to another level, Yeah! that's a great song, is Smiling Phases. SO much better than the more widely known at least back then BS&T version.
