Love this clip - Lennon strolling around NYC like some kind of Demi-God.

The title track is my favorite, but there are several others I like which, unfortunately, get passed over to the power of the first song. I think "Aisumasen" is a forgotten gem with a helluva tear-jerking guitar; love "I Know I Know", "Tight A$", "Out The Blue", and "Meat City" .

    Mind games.

But ruling out the obvious, I'd go with "bring on the lucie"

This is my favorite Lennon album.

My favourite Lennon album too! So it's a tough choice :)

Voted for I Know (I Know), but a couple of hours ago it would have been You Are Here. Or Meat City. Or the title track. Or...

The full clip is even better- Lennon lip-synching to Whatever Gets You Thru The Night, as filmed for BBC TV's Top Of The Pops in fall 1974.

    Voted Out the Blue.

Musically, One Day (at a Time) is a wonder but the falsetto kind of ruins it for me (the anthology version with straight low voice sounds far better to my ears). I've been asking myself if this could be a McCartney pastiche of some sort.

For me it is either "Mind Games" or "Meat City" but I went with the latter.

For me it is 'I Know', followed by the title song and 'Out Of The Blue' (with a special mention for Meat City, a great rock'n'roll track').

The title track Mind Games, none of the others come close to it.

I played this on Spotify today. (Don't worry I've probably bought the cd twice now. )
Anyway about half of the songs contend for favorite, but today it's I Know.

Mind Games was the first Lennon CD I bought (had all of the albums previously).
My favorite song is You Are Here followed by Bring On The Lucie.

I thought there'd be a few more of us who get the biggest thrill from the sardonic groove and lyrics of "Freda People". Sure that the title track is majestic and atmospheric but sometimes you want more than just "Imagine 2: Even More Imagining".

Indeed...and the angelic background quires gives me goodebumps every time...especially after that break - "Like A UFO You came to me..."

I voted for Out the Blue, but You Are Here and Aisumasen were very close seconds. The love songs on this album are really fab.

The title track is my favorite. One of John's best solo songs. Stands up with his greatest Beatles stuff.
I also really enjoy Bring On The Lucie (Freeda People).

    Bring On the Lucie!

Am I the only one that completely dislikes the 2000 remix of this album? Sure the original mix is murky, but the remix tries to bring every instrument to the front, and it becomes distracting.

    I Know (I Know)

Aside from having the album's two clunkers (Intuition, Only People), I like the rest of the side 2 songs a lot more than the ones on side 1.
