Hi, I plug my Fiio X5 player into my Kenwood car stereo. I'm using a Furutech ADL (iD-35L) aux cable. When on the aux mode (whether the aux cable is connected or not) there is a small high-pitched noise that can be heard when turning the volume very loud. I was wondering if I should turn the volume of the X5 as loud as possible, so I don't have to crank the volume of the stereo, or if that could somehow create distortion. So my question is: can you turn the X5's volume all the way up without losing quality? Thanks.

For most players, turn it up all the way or close to it.Whatever sounds best.

Well the big thing will be, what is the output level of the Fiio device at max volume, and what is the maximum input level for the Aux input of the Kenwood ?

The Fiio may not distort at max volume, but it may overdrive the Aux input of the Kenwood.
