    Taxi Driver 2.
Still could be made, and i believe Robert De Niro is considering playing the Travis Bickle charactor at a older age, waiting for the right script i guess.

    Any others?

A retake on Godfather III. Weaker cast made for a weaker film IMO.

Masters Of The Universe 2. Seriously. :) It was teased at the end of the movie but never got made due to budgetary problems at Cannon.

I'd have been more of a "Jews in Space" kind of guy.

Not a sequel > but Godfather 4 with Nic Cage, Christian Bale.

That was one of the first movies that came to my mind! (Not sure if that's a good thing or not, though...) :p

I wish they'd make an official 9th Halloween film and end the series properly. (The last one came out in 2002 and ended on a cliffhanger!)

Considering how bad Halloween 5, 6, 7, and 8 were, you really want another one?! :)

Species III. I know there is a film called Species III, but it really shouldn't count:cheers:

I wish Sahara had been a sucess so we could see more Matthew McConaughey as Dirk Pitt movies.

I would rather see a sequel, reboot, prequel, whatever you want to call it that deals with the years between the end of II and the beginning of III. There were a couple of decent non-Puzo Godfather novels exploring this time-frame, including addressing the death of Tom Hagen. I think these novels could be a good basis for films.

Yep. Agreed. The Godfather Companion is an essential read for some of the background. Great book.

Mel Brooks's' History Of The World, Part 3. There's a teaser trailer for it at the end of the Part 2, but that was part of the joke.

Mel Brooks actually said he was going to make "Spaceballs II: Fracking the Universe". Maybe in jest.

At the end of Mac & Me (the infamous E.T ripoff sponsored by McDonalds) there's a little speech bubble shown as the characters are driving away that says "We'll Be Back!".

The movie bombed, so they weren't. :)

But I'd kind of like to see a sequel just because the original was so stupid.

Sideways. The book has a sequel that I quite enjoyed. (Although some parts of it could never be in a mainstream movie!)

I think a great sequel to "That Thing You Do" could be done with the band getting together 20 years later (the mid '80s) for a reunion concert...

Well, if you didn't like it, there's also a Species IV but it probably isn't any better. :)

I did like the original movie quite a bit though even if it was very derivative.
