High Fidelity. Awful movie. I was watching it with the wife and said enough already, if you want to finish it fine. I'm done.

Man, if you dislike the 2012 "Avengers", go watch the 1998 one - you'll come back and beg Marvel for forgiveness!

The Marvel Avengers. I finished it but kept thinking "is there another movie I was supposed to watch first?" because this makes no sense.

  6. Yeah. About six. That's Marvel's gimmick. Or one of them at least.

  7. I'd implore those who couldn't get through Inland Empire to see it through to the end. You may be pleasantly surprised...if you're the kind of person that can enjoy a movie "coming together" at the end. I won't lie and say that it can be a chore at times, but it certainly doesn't meander the entire time (though it can feel that way for most of it), it's actually building to something. Maybe not a "ending" ending, but more of a revelation.

I think the lack of cinematography makes it feel more aimless than it is.

    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

I disagree...they just gathered up the Marvel Superheroes in one place...I found it a lot of fun...Loved The Hulk! Mark Rufalo was great!

Since I saw all the "lead-up" movies, I don't know what it'd be like to see "Avengers" cold. I guess it'd be off-putting, like you're starting a novel with chapter 7...

A perfect ending for the movie, in my twisted world. :)

Rufalo is my favorite movie Hulk so far, but I didn't care for anyone else. To each his own!

I hated "High Fidelity", which may get me kicked off this forum. I made it about half way through and told the wife I'm done, then went to go do something else. She was mad.

Like action movies. Don't like horror movies. Went too far into the latter.

Gangs of New York comes to mind for me. I remember watching it when I was younger and enjoying it but I was really tired whilst watching it and fell asleep. I watched it recently but couldn't make it through as I just found it boring.

  23. Eagerly awaiting tomorrows update! :D

  24. I hadn't seen most of the other "lead up" movies at the time - only the Iron Man ones - and I was able to get into Avengers without much trouble.

Tin Men. I like Danny Devito and can even stand Richard Dreyfuss in the right film, this film was just too much. I think after Richard's character beds Devito's wife to one up him, I looked at my wife and one of us hit "eject".
