Listened to full track a couple times... its an earworm and I get it as single material... but marketing wise, we need some Chris(!!!!)

Maybe they'll surprise us, but if it's like most Fleetwood Mac, her songs will feature him heavily, while his songs will include her barely or not at all. That's what this song indicates.

I was kind of surprised, after everything they said about how collaborative this project is, to read the credits and see they actually only co-wrote three songs.

He's been using those types of effects on his vocals for quite some time.

I really like the song! I was expecting to hate it based on some of the comments here.

Sounds like a Buckingham solo song and I don't like whatever he did with the vocal sound.

Me too! It was immediately appealing when I heard it - very in keeping with Mac and Lindsey... Cannot wait for the full album

Their EP that the Mac put out a while back didn't make me feel like this...And Stevie's stuff certainly doesn't...

It has a classic Fleetwood Mac simmer in the groove. I like it.
It needs to be heard in context to the songs around it, again odd choice for first single.

I was horrified by the preview clip, but the full song is actually quite good. That additional percussion is irritating though.

The groove is very "Dreams." To my mind this sounds more FM than the last couple projects under that name. I assume this was pegged for the FM album when there was going to be one.

The more I hear it the more I like it. The reverb at the end makes me feel like I'm on Acid:)

The lyrics are quite wistful and they lift the song

    In my world
    Everybody stays
Nobody wishes for words they couldn't say

In an idealised world everybody 'stays' (happily), without negative sentiments that they can't voice. Except his world is not ideal and presumably the opposite happens in the real one. All this is juxtaposed to a catchy pop tune.
Wasn't expecting a pop tune from FM at this late stage in their game. Still, it's quite good.

Rumour has it another single will be Christine's "Red Sun". I'll bet "In My World" is the warm up to that one.

I'm not an expert, but I don't hear any of the autotune tones and sounds that correct pitch.. IF used here, it is more for style.. but doesn't sound like autotune to me.. more like a flange (sp?) or chorus sound.

I really like it, kinda feels like a Mirage throwback with just a hint of Tango.

while End of Time is one of the songs i don't like as much as most others from Seeds, it's still heaps better than this new one. but the new one does have some reminders of it, just not enough.

I was excited for this album. But after hearing the first single and seeing the album cover, not so much.
