Great news. Presumably, the full Los Angeles 1982 concert film will be included too.

Very very cool. Even better is that this means possibly a Tango set will be next!!

Yep. I just found this thread via a search...just scrolled down to his announcement on Facebook :

" Today I started re-mixing Fleetwood Mac's Mirage album in 5.1 for Warner Brothers re-release of a new Deluxe Box Set of that classic album. "

Great that I never bought this in the first place...now my only copy will be in 5.1.

well, now, if THAT isn't the best news i've heard all week.

admittedly, this one'll likely be about the extras for me--the 5.1 mix will be swell, but with the original cd sounding really good, i've laways wanted to know more about/hear more from these sessions. always seemed like a unique time in the band's history.

    woo hoo!

Agreed. Live cuts, out takes, demos, single mixes, and b-sides. There's a lot to mine for this release!

I'm hoping there will be a 2 disc edition so finally I can replace my virtually inaudible ancient CD of this album.

Awesome news. Add me to the list anxious for a 5.1 Tango in the Night. Would love to hear what You and I would sound like I surround.

Sell the 5.1 separately and you've got yourself a sale, Warner Brothers.

I couldn't find this announcement on Facebook. Or anywhere for that matter.

Anyone have a link so I can get *officially* excited? :)

Awesome! How many different arrangements of "Eyes Of The World" are there on that tour? Seems like I've heard a few different arrangements on different boots. I hope they get a few different ones on the set.

Must be a private post to be seen only by his friends list, because it's not showing up as a public post in his news feed. As long as you verify it's there, that's good enough for me!

It's interesting to me that we're (presumably) getting a Mirage set consistent with Rumours and Tusk, but before the 1975 self-titled album. I'm totally AOK with that; we've been waiting decades for a proper reissue of Mirage. I do hope at some point they double back and take care of Fleetwood Mac. I wouldn't mind a complete collection of B/N-era FM deluxe sets on my shelf...and then after that they can go backwards and forwards at their leisure. :)
