    I enjoyed the King's Speech also. :)

"Tusk" is better than "Rumours" in my book. I waited a decade to give "Tusk" a try and wasted ten years.

Stevie recycled lines and bridges a few times. I always thought it was done to thematically tie two songs together.

This is a great album though. I love just about everything on it except Walk a Thin Line and Sisters of the Moon.

Been revisiting Tusk this past month. Listened to it 5 times in the past couple weeks and it has grown in stature for me. Just an amazing album, Mac's best imo. I really don't know why "Think About Me" wasn't a smash hit. My guess is because it wasn't released as the lead single. Big mistake.

  6. Anyone know why a different take was substituted for the CD editions?

Most of the 2 -CD set bonus tracks are unique to that set.

The original LP mix is used on the new deluxe edition.

Also, not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure the original LP mix can be heard in mono by panning the older CD versions to the left side. The right side seems to be all additional overdubs.

Two different mixes for the price of one!

But still relevant to anyone who might be seeing the thread for the first time as the question wasn't answered here.

I think Tusk was crap. I wish they would have made Rumours II.
It should never have been a double album. Most of it is filler.

I'd never heard the whole album until 4-5 months ago. Wish I hadn't waited so long! Great album!

    Like Fleetwood Mac, like Tusk.

I think it could of been paired down to 12-13 songs at the time, but why? I heard Tusk on the radio when I was a child and I thought it was the coolest sound I had ever heard. Again, another band with so many talented individuals that all shine on their own. But the production by Lindsey Buckingham always puts each members songs into perspective and kept them sounding like a band, rather than solo projects.

The earlier conversation about the lyrics of "That's All For Everyone"....on the dvd mix from the recent box set it's clear he's saying "Must be just exactly what I need" as the official lyrics show.
