    It was originally written and performed by Chan Romero, but never charted in the USA. The biggest hit version of it came for The Swinging Blue Jeans in 1964. The Beatles had it in their repertoire before that, though.

    There is a compilation CD of the Swinging Blue Jeans which has this song complete with studio chatter. I think it's Hippy Hippy Shake: The Definitive Collection.

    If your talking about the song that was in the movie cocktail with Tom Cruise then its the GS as stated above..

    Yep. It's the version that got The Beatles and the Swinging Blue Jeans excited, regardless of how it charted.
