The upcoming reboot of "Ironside" (which looks ridiculous) got me thinking about the various attempts to reboot TV shows that have fallen into the TV graveyard (usually justifiably) ...what are your favorites?

Before the more successful version they tried to reboot "Hawaii Five-0" with Gary Busey...yep it's pretty bad...

Did they ever do the Rockford pilot?

I misread the title of the thread. I thought it said "Forgotten TV Robots" If that was the thread, I could only think of two - Rosie from The Jetsons and the robot on Lost in Space. Forgotten Reboots makes more sense for a thread.

Someone above mentioned the Rockford Files. Through IMDB.com I found an article about the show. A pilot had been made in 2010 with Dermot Mulroney as Rockford. The article states that David Shore was too busy to get the series going for 2011 season. I'm not sure if this has gone any further since then. Since watching Castle, I think that Nathan Fillion would make a perfect Jim Rockford. Of course, as we have seen, almost none of the Reboots have been successful.

I really liked the Love Boat reboot. It was perfectly cheesy.

Also I loved the original Ironside. I've recently been rewatching a ton of those episodes. Great show.

NBC did "Night Rider" a few years go and it lasted only 4 episodes before its cancellation.

A Get Smart revival was attempted in 1995, but despite the presence of Adams and Feldon it was perfectly dreadful.

I only watched a handful of episodes, but I liked what I saw of "The New Leave It to Beaver".

The other day, I was thinking about a scene in "The New Leave It to Beaver". Wally is asking Eddie about the cooler of beer, next to Eddie's easy chair, when the kitchen is just a few steps away. Eddie says something along the lines of "Yeah, it seems close now but after 7 or 8 of these - it is not so easy."
