Well folks, I finnally caved in and purchased the 21 CD British Complete Capitol Recordings Box Set.

I want to share with everyone my impressions of the CD Sound quality in comparison to other CD versions that I've heard.

    1. Steve Hoffmans DCC Robin and Seven Hoods and 57 Concert
    wins for best sound -outstanding
    2. MFSL - Songs for Swingin Lovers CD- best available of title
    2. Larry Walsh Rules in the category of best sound reproduction of the his late 80's and early 90'sCapitol Albums including
the songs on the capitol collectors series
    3. British Box Set fairs well against Larry Walsh's work. No giant
    leaps forward , very close
    4. Bob Norberg - unimpressive, Orchestra tracks lacking in depth
    and realism

There are no surprises, but I'm am disappointed. I was hoping that the British Box set would be a huge improvement. Very little
if any. My system and ears are very attuned. There's just nothing
    exciting to report.
