Zappa Radio is streaming two tracks from this yet unannounced future release. "Any Downers?" and "Phyniox [Take 1]". The latter sounds composed, but I've never heard it before. Officially or unofficially. Rumors on Zappateers say that these two tracks come from a rehearsal in 1975. Roy Estrada and Terry Bozzio are present. Denny Walley, Robert "Frog" Camarena and André Lewis MIGHT be. Both track sound quite great to these ears.
This appears to be the early fall 75 lineup that appears in one photo: FZ, Napoleon Murphy Brock, Roy Estrada, Terry Bozzio, Denny Walley, Robert "Frog" Camarena and Novi Novog. There are two keyboardists, neither of whom have the same gear and sound as Andre Lewis. From what we know at this point it seems Napoleon and Novi were playing keyboards. (Napoleon has said he almost ended up playing keyboards on this tour before Andre Lewis joined.) This could be a very interesting release. Good sound too.
Hope it's true; I like to purchase TWO items when I buy through Barfko-Swill, and now, I can wait to get the "Token" soundtrack until this new "Joe's" comes out!
It was shown on the playlist from Zappa Radio. They are also playing "Pygmy Twylyte" from Token Of My Extreme.
Here's the thread I started earlier today. I forgot about this previous one. http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/new-zappa-release-joes-camouflage.341834/
