Frank Zappa - New Box Set - 1977 Halloween

oh, I should have mentioned it a new box set all 6 shows from halloween at the palladium in new york, 1978 [sic - it was actually 1977]. 18 hours worth!
it's the shows the Baby Snakes movie was made from."

This is of course in the same material that was issued in part in a multichannel mix on DVD-A as Halloween.

 

Yowzah!!!! Best news I've heard all year (besides another King Crimson tour). Lets hope this begins a trend of a multi-night run of shows released together. Doesn't make sense to me that the recent and excellent Chicago release did not include the early show from the same night. Can't wait for this one.

 

It is likely that Adrian Belew got the year wrong and that the box will be from 1977 (the year he played with Zappa at the Palladium), not 1978 (the year of the shows from that DVD-A).

I really hope the other box is Yellow Shark stuff.
