First US show in Boston was absolutely great-- If you get a chance, go! Standard setlist, the full album plus three from each band (still done together). The chemistry is really there-- the two singers working together was a great thing to see.

Seeing them next Friday (9th) in Minneapolis... at the iconic First Avenue (Purple Rain).
I can't wait... the FFS album has been my go-to for most of the summer.

There's a well-produced video of the Bataclan / Paris show in June... I haven't watched it yet / didn't want to spoil my upcoming concert.

Edit... just saw the Paris concert link is on the previous page... apologies for the repeat.

Went to see Kraftwerk on Friday and a guy was giving away free tickets to see FFS on Saturday. When I asked why he was giving them away he told me the show was far from selling out. He had 500 to hand out and they could make more from the bar if they get people to come. I went with my wife. We hung around for a bit. It was nice to see a show at the Electric Factory that wasn't packed to the ceiling and walls.

Listening on Spotify now. Need to get the CD! Who would've thought Franz Ferdinand and Sparks would go together so well?

The Paris concert was brilliant, so energetic, they were hand in glove perfect. Loved the dance.

This was my favourite album of 2015, which had some very strong records. Just relistening to it, and it's still tremendous. Hoping it'll set up the next Sparks album (Hippopotamus, due in May) nicely.

It'll also be interesting to see what Franz Ferdinand do next, especially as Nick McCarthy's left the band.

Here's the answer - two new members and a new album in February:
Franz Ferdinand Announce New Album Always Ascending, Share New Song: Listen | Pitchfork

Also, when I saw Sparks last month, they introduced 'Johnny Deulsional' as a song 'from a band that Ron and I were in'

Both sides said all along that it was a one-time collaboration.
