Same here. And Brian was the only reasonably sane one on the show. Every sitcom needs one of those. Can't say I'm crazy about the new dog. They should have killed off Meg. Clearly Mila Kunis doesn't have much time for the show and nobody liked Meg anyway, except maybe Quagmire.
I like the choice of the Sopranos dude.. however his tone seemed quite depressed last night. I hope he gets a bit more spirited in the future.
Brian's death will be permanent. Within the next several episodes, Stewie will become senile and unable to build a new time machine.
Maybe they were trying to beat The Simpsons, death-wise. This was a bit shocking considering there was no advance notice such as we've been given regarding the upcoming death in Springfield.
Actually there was, before this season even started. But I wasn't expecting it this fast, and I safely assumed it would be Meg
Well, that was an interesting development. I freaking love Family Guy, and the banter between Stewie and Brian was always a highlight. I will be curious to see where things go from here. I'm in. --Geoff
I haven't been following the Simpsons for the last few seasons (at least) -- is a major character going to be killed off? Obviously Mrs. Krabapple was unplanned...
Very OLD spoiler alert! Remember when Kenny "officially" died on South Park? 20+ episodes later he just casually re-appeared, to the very mild surprise of the boys. Is Brian "dead" dead? Who can say except for Mr. McFarlane?
http://www.briansannouncement.com/ Fox run website, countdown to Brian's announcement, 10 days and counting.
I thought it was hilarious. The whole episode was funny, especially the new dog! "Maybe I bring it back, maybe I bring back an iPhone that fell off a truck!"
I don't KNOW anything and I didn't show anything. That glimpse at the website is interesting. Brian in heaven?
The website is apparently a hoax, i.e. not the work of Fox: http://www.deadline.com/2013/11/special-announcement-from-brian-follows-family-guy-pooch-passing/
Producers say that briansannouncement website is a hoax: http://www.deadline.com/2013/11/special-announcement-from-brian-follows-family-guy-pooch-passing/ That new dog character was awful in a one-trick pony sort of way.
If Stewie went back in time and stayed there, why would he fade away and disappear? Wouldn't his original timeline continue to exist (without Stewie OR Brian in it)?
