"Frequency" an old Dennis Quaid movie that still chokes me up

I remember watching this nearly 20 yrs ago. It has its faults. A little too busy and not enough build up without jumping right into the father/son time travel. No, its not a classic or even great. Still I think its a really inventive/creative idea for a movie that touches on many moral and emotional aspects.

And the bad guy gets it in the end while the family lives happily ever after. Not enough movies do that now.

Have to admit a few tears rolled down my cheeks during parts of this movie.

    Any fans of this movie?

I haven't seen it in years, but I remember it really moving me. Part of that may have been losing my father at 16.

I love this film. One of the more interesting ways I have seen to handle time travel.

Well, it just ended. Thanks OP, I really appreciate that. I likely haven't seen it since a cable broadcast that I likely taped onto VHS.

Love it. One of my favorite films. Dennis Quaid used to make some really good films years ago.

Actually, Quaid is still a phenomenal actor. It's just that nobody is offering him good parts.

Very enjoyable film. My brother was a long time HAM radio operator and there was quite the disdain in the HAM radio discussions about the inaccuracies regarding the equipment used. I thought Braugher and Caviezel were good as well.

He is great in I Can Only Imagine, which came out this year.

I'm not familiar with Frequency, but will definitely check it out now.
