Huh? It was a regular part of the show for a number of Stones tours and the songs often simply rotated. There was nothing overly special or significant about the B stage set per se for the Stones (which doesn't mean it wasn't a highlight of the show for me).

It's a different type of show I think - much more stripped down, coked-up - almost punkish. I prefer Ladies, but still enjoy '78.

The Paris show has a release date of last year, which must be a glitch. The Checkerboard lounge set is up twice, one being the normal CD release, the other being the full set.

Will the Brussels Affair ever be released , I know it was on some box set

It was released as a download and as a CD in a Japan-only package.

But, yes, it's extremely annoying that such a famous concert is not more widely available as an official CD release.

Yeah, with Marquee '71. Flaws aside, having official CD releases of Marquee, Leeds, half Roundhouse, L&G and Brussels Affair is a dream come true.

What a box set the Brussels affair is as well, I imported it from the Stones site, only problem is it takes up half the room it's that big, worth it though, The triple vinyl and book is great to have.

The Japan option with the marquee looks great for anyone who can't get hold of the box set, is that one ward records? I was actually thinking of selling the boxset and buying the Japan CD but I can't part with the box set.

Don't suppose anyone knows how many of the un signed Brussels affair box sets where available ? must have been quite limited , I read 1973 where available of the signed numbered sets.

Exactly! I can't fit my box anywhere in my newly rebuilt record room. It sits on the floor while I try to figure out where it might go.

I read a while back on here a few people said they changed there mind when they received it and sent it back, wonder if they are regretting that decision now, I had a look how much the unsigned version was going for the other day ! Still wouldn't sell though I don't think.

I know, it doesn't really fit in any space does it, mines at the side of where my vinyl boxes and CD sets are kept as well.

I have several great boots from each of 72 and 78, but I'm still happy to know that the official shows from those years are now on audio. I love the videos for both.

I swear, the people at Rolling Stones Enterprises/Promotone/Eagle Rock must have read this thread. "Black Limo" is now present and correct on iTunes!
