As far as I can see, all of them say:

"DSD transferred from the analogue master tapes by Mick McKenna and Richard Whittaker at FX Copyroom, 2011"

    No mention of Steven Marcussen.

Marcussen's 2009 mastering was also reissued on SHM-CD, independent of the SHM-SACD/Platinum SHM reissues, which confuses things slightly

I think this is correct, have to check, but from memory "The Masher" Marcussen had nothing to do with the DSDs.

I have them all...... The SHM-SACDs.....

They may be using old artwork as someone mentioned. I have the green 2011 SHM SACDs in jewel cases that were selling at CDJapan in 2015 when I ordered them all.

I just pulled out Sticky Fingers, Tattoo You & Undercover and they all said "Mastered by Stephen Marcussen & Stewart Whitmore at Marcussen Mastering, Hollywood, CA."

Make of it what you will. I'm just happy my memory wasn't failing after all! :)

I really wish this thread would get back on the topic of future vault releases.

Yes I believe there are SHM cds from Japan in jewel cases that are just SHM versions of the 2009 remasters.

The Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup

Apologies re going off thread. Re From the Vault stuff has anyone a complete list of what has been issued so far and do you count the Live 1978 cd/dvd? I also have the Stripped dvd/cd set but do not know if that is part of the series.

From the Vault is a hazy concept at best. There have been lots of archival releases since 2010... consult Felix Aeppli's Ultimate Guide

Funny. This is like a church choir singing Sympathy For The Devil.

Thanks that is my impression as well. Yes there have been lots of archival releases but as an old curmudgeon I really don't have much passion for the Stones post 1982. Hoping for something around the Goats Head album/tour or a Beggars 50th.

It needs some updating, but @botley posted a great list over here a couple of years ago . . .

Catch-all for archival LIVE Rolling Stones releases, 2000-2015

It's a good place to start.

    Stripped : Complete is ESSENTIAL.

Yes I have the big Stripped release on cd/blu ray and I guess I should buy a vinyl version of these fine recordings one day. A bit disappointed my Stripped bootleg cd (which is actually very good) is still essential for a couple of studio performances.

I have that 2cd Stripped comp - and yes, I won't be deleting that particular fileset, probably ever.

There has been some scuttlebutt about this during the last week on different Stones forums but no confirmation from the Stones.

If true, I wonder if it will be the show from the 19th or 20th. It would be cool to have a recent version of Route 66 and Get Off My Cloud. We would also either get Moonlight Mile or I Got The Blues.

Actually, that scan of FSK page is a kind of confirmation.
The Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Filmwirtschaft (FSK, Self-Regulatory Body of the Movie Industry) is a German motion picture rating system organization run by the Spitzenorganisation der Filmwirtschaft (SPIO, Head Organisation of the Movie Industry) based in Wiesbaden.
This means that at least in Germany the industry knows about the release. Although the release date is not set yet. Usually the release date is 2-3 months away from the date the release appeared at FSK site.

I was hoping for Paris 1976 but San Jose 1999 has always been my 2nd choice.

Somebody last month over at IORR said they had knowledge that the next vault release would be around the time the tour started.

Some Girls was also played at both San Jose shows.

I've kinda expected this one for a while now since...last time I checked... the No Security album itself has never been reissued since the bands move to UMG.

Will be interesting to see if that will be part of or tied into this somehow.

No information about which show at this point.

I wonder if there will be a Japanese release possibly with bonus material from the other show?
