"Matador" of extremely good, so I'm looking forward to this.

 

I heard 'Deep Pockets' the other day which is ok, not the strongest I've heard by him. Nevertheless I am looking forward to the new album.

 

Interesting to see that Danny and Gas would release albums a few months apart.

 

Really looking forward to this. I thought Matador was excellent. "The Girl Who Fell to Earth" is quite possibly my favorite song by him.

 

I'm 100% in for this! No doubt I'll get the LP version to go next to my copy of Matador which I thought was superb. Have just about everything by Supergrass, the Hot Rats project and his first solo album Here Come The Bombs. All great. Thanks for the heads-up.

 

Just get Supergrass back together Gaz.

 

Speaking of former Supergrass members, this came out last week from Danny Goffey: Danny Goffey Returns With New Song 'Ancient Text'

 

Another item that I saw for the first time in the Gaz Coombes store was the Matador (Da Capo) E.P.

For those of us who were frustrated by the 1.20 running time of the album version, this is the fully fleshed out song on red vinyl (although it looks more purple to me).

I asked the people at Sandbag if, at this late stage, signed copies were still available and they are.

I was a huge Supergrass fan back in the day.

 

My vinyl copy is arriving on Monday. Anyone have time to listen closely yet?

 

I got my pink copy from Bull Moose yesterday.

Flat, centered, quiet between tracks and barely a pop or click except that there's a small, audible scratch at the end of the last track. So close to being perfect.

I have a mint-colored copy on the way, so hopefully that one won't have the same issue.

 

My pink copy is noisy as hell.
I thought I was ordering a plain old black vinyl copy.
