George Harrison 2017 vinyl box discussion

There are 16 LP's + 2 maxi-singles (picture discs) in the Harrison box.

Has anyones Amazon preorder shipped yet?!?!

 

Just received my box set!

 

Made an idiotic mistake... placed a very early preorder of ATMP through AmazonUK and forgot to cancel. I've just received a shipping notice from them. This will cost me $80 vs. about $60 had I purchased domestically.

 

I've done that. I have two sets of Pure McCartney on vinyl. I just keep one sealed for trading later.

 

I pulled my RSD day pressing off the shelf the other day and was gobsmacked by the amount of surface noise (vacuum cleaned too!). If the reports are good I will follow suit. If not I will enjoy my 5 other pressings (still have a sealed RSD box with a very low number)

There were some slight differences between the original UK and US boxes for ATMP. Wonder which "model" this reissue will use.

Unless I get a gift card I am done with Amazon. Prime not worth it. Support local unless you live nowhere near a record shop or civilization.

 

Oh, dont hesitate to call customer service and demand compensation. They usually give a few bucks in amazon credit

I think we have all said that the Pure McCartney vinyl pressing is beyond impressive! Exceptional!

 

I would advise watching that unboxing on mute. That guy's way of speaking really annoys me. Haha

 

Yeah agreed. Also, kinda disappointed he didnt take out any of the individual LPs besides Extra Texture
