    Thanks for the info, Chip.
Do you know if a version of "You" with Ronnie on vocals exist?

I'm betting it doesn't. But if it did..... it should sound awesome.
Great song made for a great voice like Ronnie's.

But if some of her vocals are on George's version, then there's some hope that a full take by Ronnie may still be on the multitrack.

Yes you'd think there is a track with Ronnies vocals.

There is supposed to be a version of Tandoori Chicken in the vaults with Phil Spector on lead vocals. I think that, as a novelty/archive release, there is enough Ronnie Spector related Apple material to make an album.

Would a Ronnie Spector You be a good bonus track for Extra Texture?
We need one of those Classic Albums doco's on Extra Texture... so we can get to hear Ronnie's vocal track:)

A classic albums doco on any Beatles/Solo album would be beyond awesome. I reckon that they must have been approached over the last 10 years to do one, I mean why wouldn't you ask them? Therefore they obviously declined and we can add that to the ever growing list of Bad Decisions that Apple Ltd has done and continues to do.

No. This does not exist. It's a figment of your imagination ("nothing is real").

Oh yeah I think they did.. obviously left a big impact on me that one :) Really if you have no footage of the sessions and won't play the master session tapes in minute detail like they have done for the majority of the "Classic Album" series then its a waste of time. The Elton John, Frank Zappa and Fleetwood Mac episodes were soo amazing and the POB one was totally bland in my opinion. Another missed opportunity. Imagine one on "Double Fantasy" with all the "missing" video footage included?? wow.

Yes, a DF episode would be incredible, especially if they used Douglas's secret sound recordings.

I haven't watched it in a while but I thought the POB documentary had some great footage of the isolated multi-tracks being played by the recording engineer

They must do one on ATMP!

Ken is being lined up for the definitive Ringo documentary, told in 12 two hour episodes to be aired on PBS in 2016, narrated by Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks & Bob Costas.

I know I'm going WAY off topic here. And my apologies.

But some of the Douglas secret recordings seemed to have been used in this well done doc on John's murder.

It's a sad documentary, but extremely well done. Jack is interviewed in this, too.

And just like the "real" version, in the early run-throughs of the song, there's no mention of Ken Burns; it ends with "I just believe in me, and that's reality." ;)

Seriously (somewhat), I've always wondered how John's lyric went from "I just believe in me, and that's reality" in the early rehearsals to "I just believe in me, Yoko and me, and that's reality." A brainstorm on his part, or a subtle suggestion on hers?

And just to bring this thread back to George, well, here's a good one from DH before his voice went dark hoarse:

Mine, too, sitting right next to Paul McCartney: The Music & Animation Collection.

Heavy contrast: Primal Scream meets Rupert. Funny thing is, they get along fine.
