  5. Ayrton Wilbury is named after 3-time World Driving Champion all time great Ayrton Senna who both father and son were great fans of.

Please, please, please, put this packaging that does not screw up the discs! And stay away from NR and brickwalling. ATMP really needs this.

PH or Paul Hicks who Dhani mentions in his post remastered the 2009 Beatles Mono box and has been remix engineer on a number of Beatle projects such as Love, the McCartney Years DVD, Rock Band game, etc. In 2011, he worked with Giles Martin on the soundtrack to the Harrison film and the subsequent Early Takes album. I'm quite excited to hear what the two of them have been up to at Friar Park!

I bought Electronic Sound the week it came out, and I have actually listened to it. I bought the Japanese vinyl import and the cd. However, if I were in charge of George's legacy, I would not include this in a boxed set along with such highly regarded albums at ATMP, LITMW, CFBD, etc. Besides it's "Zapple" not "Apple"--a perfect excuse to not include it. Wonderwall is another matter as it's nice to listen to, but is it really part of the main canon of his solo work? Compared with ATMP? Would "The Family Way" be included in a Macca set?

As a side note: Dhani has had a mani-pedi.

Can't wait. I always wondered why it took so long.

I Don't Care Anymore. Isn't that the track on Porky's Revenge?

If the ATMP remaster is done right, I am getting the box. Don't care what else is in it.

I'd rather hear "Early Takes Volume 2"

I really hope that this does not get pushed back because of the box set release. I wonder if it is potentially a part of the box-set? It would make more sense than having Electronic Sound and Wonderwall Music.

Maybe Dhani and PH have corrected the polarity on Electronic Sound, and uncovered its intended beauty.

    You never know.

The unlimited 96/24 download from a couple of years ago sounded amazing. Hoping they kept that master untouched (with, of course, a judicious amount of dither) for this box! I am not excited about possibly re-buying Material World on CD, since I'm more than happy with the last remaster — but otherwise, I'm ready to put this on my shelf next to the Dark Horse Years set!

It shouldn't be a problem for them to include Early Takes, Vol. 2 as part of The Apple Years, and also have it as a stand-alone release.

    I'd hate to lose Wonderwall.

As apple- richard said, it was I Don't Want To Do It.

Since it is from 1985 and was on Columbia, I believe, it wouldn't be from the Apple years. The single version was different from the Porky's Revenge album (single had guitar solo mixed up, album had organ solo mixed up). It would be nice to have the single version on CD. The album version is on Let It Roll compilation. But an Apple years comp is not the correct venue for this song.

If you look in the background of the picture by the window - isn't that where the poster included in the original LP All Things Must Pass was taken?

You can download the 24/96 remaster from George's website. It sounds great!

No it's not. It was released on DVD in 2005 and there hasn't been a subsequent HD reissue on Bluray. Lets hope there are plans for it tho with upgraded PQ and 24/96 stereo and 5.1 tracks.

I Don't Care Anymore was the b-side to Ding Dong Ding Dong, 1974. Nothing to do with I Don't Want To Do It!
