These deaths used to happen a few times a year. Then they started happening monthly. Then weekly. Now it seems like they're happening hourly. RIP.

It´s hard to take in all the talent passing this year. George Michael was among the best songwriters and performers. "You Have Been Loved".

Shocking and sad. Never a fan of chart music, but I always liked his singles. He seemed like a funny, charming, decent person, despite his occasional lapses of judgement. And he was 53!?! Not that it's an original sentiment at this point, but 2016 just keeps rubbing it in, doesn't it? Taking the man who set the standard for the Christmas single, on Christmas Day! Unbelievable.

This is getting scary, and I don't think 2017 will be much better.

If I was a rock/pop star I'd check myself into hospital until 2017.

Seriously though what is going on this year. We've really lost to many legends this year :shake:

S**t. I wasn't a big Wham fan, but Faith and Listen Without Prejudice were brilliant albums. He wasn't afraid to live his life out loud, either. Good for him.
    RIP, sir.

I'm terribly shocked by this one.

George was everywhere during the Wham! days and had a huge year in 1988 as a solo artist. Always loved his voice and he wasn't unattractive either...

Who would have thought we'd lose this talent at only 53?? Puzzling. Surely he must have been ill.
