They only issued two singles, and never had much success except in the Philippines (according to Wikipedia). Guess the decade.

As discussed recently in the Badfinger thread, ex-Zombie Paul Atkinson ended up as an A&R executive at Capitol.

Edit: One of my posts was missing, so I reposted it, and then the original post emerged giggling from the cupboard.

    Carry on.

For you Pittsburghers..... wasn't Donnie Iris a real estate agent at one point?

(I assume not now - he still performs frequently.)

Any chance he was one of the Crusaders? He did not make a big deal out of it and only mentioned it because LZ plus Jason Bonham was on at that moment.

This was a few years before the Internet so verification was not so doable back then.

It is not uncommon for musicians to take on different professions after their time in the music business. My own father took a position with the American Federation of Musicians after being a working musician for over 40 years. Why! Because at age 57, he was tired of having to work shows until 2:00 AM and getting to bed at 3:00 AM or later night after night. He wanted to be home for dinner and live a more normal lifestyle. He always told me that the music business was a young mans game and that you should eventually have a plan B to roll into. He never quit playing music, but was more than glad to hang it up as a profession when then time came and as having a long time career in the music business, he was one of the lucky ones.

Only other thing I can think of is Page playing with the "interval band" at the Marquee around 61-2, before he started session work. That wasn't a touring band, it was like a pick-up thing. Also he was supposed to have done some dates with Mickey Finn & the Blen Men at the same time as the early session work (circa '63-4) so maybe that's it?

This seems to be the new trend for musicians.

Maynard James Keenan of Tool has a vineyard in Arizona.
Les Claypool of Primus owns Claypool Cellars and a soda company called Seapop.
Tim Alexander of Primus owns Herb's Cider.
