    Huey Lewis has a handicap of 7. Frank Beard plays off 8. Smokey Robinson was a bit of a bandit on 12. Robby Krieger, Glenn Frey, Roger Waters, Stephen Stills all played.

    John Squire of The Stone Roses was an animator at Cosgrove-Hall films in Chorlton, Manchester for a long time after the Roses had become an active band. They did the animated early 80s Wind in the Willows (which Squire worked on), Danger Mouse, Chorlton & the Wheelies etc.

    At a recent concert by the temporarily reunited 1993 lineup of the Posies, bassist Dave Fox told me that he persuaded his employer to give him some time off for the tour. I didn't pry further, but clearly that's a day job situation. (As for getting a haircut, his head was shaved then and now. That's him on the right.)

    Sixto Rodriguez did a ton of construction after releasing 2 amazing albums that were ignored. Many now know him because of the "Searching For Sugar Man" documentary.

    I'm not sure how real this job is but Jim Pons of The Leaves, The Turtles and The Mothers became the film director for the New York Jets Football club

    Horace Panter of the Specials was a school teacher prior to the band reunion.

    Steve Ignorant of Crass did sea resume work on a lifeboat but I believe he had to retire recently due to age.

    Leslie Woods of the Au Pairs is a barrister.

    Scott Radinsky of Pulley and Ten Foot Pole pitched in the Major Leagues for 11 years and is a bullpen coach for the Los Angeles Angels.

    At some point in his career he said he has never had to have an actual job in his life. I think this same time he said it got pretty rough for awhile. Did vocals on a Poison album during this time.

    They became teachers AFTER being famous? This would be an endless thread if we are just posting jobs people had before they were famous. Maybe I’m wrong and Sting started teaching Biology while being a multimillionaire.

    They formed at Columbia U. -- many scholars in that band.
