John Squire of The Stone Roses was an animator at Cosgrove-Hall films in Chorlton, Manchester for a long time after the Roses had become an active band. They did the animated early 80s Wind in the Willows (which Squire worked on), Danger Mouse, Chorlton & the Wheelies etc.

 

David Palmer (lead singer of Steely Dan, sang "Dirty Work") has been doing graphics designing since 2002.

 

At a recent concert by the temporarily reunited 1993 lineup of the Posies, bassist Dave Fox told me that he persuaded his employer to give him some time off for the tour.
