Ginger Baker in Africa has worst narration ever

Some interesting bits but the narration from Ginger sounds like he was speaking thru an answering machine. Simply the worst I've ever heard in any movie. I'm sure nobody is lining up for GB for voiceover work.

I guess he was "phoning it in."

 

One can only imagine what his eyes looked like when he recorded this.

 

Ginger always seemed to have deportation issues in US and Africa back in the 70s. I couldn't imagine why

 

Reading more on this film, it apparently was a British TV special back in 1971. Even with that, the narration is pathetic

 

Too bad I'm interested in this film. Was it worth watching? Love him or hate him Ginger is an interesting character.

 

If you are a Ginger Fan, African Music fan or a drummer, you'll find it interesting. The movie led me to research the Ginger Baker Africa recording studio era. McCartney recorded the Picasso track there for Band on The Run. EMI basically bullied Ginger out of the African studio business (according to Ginger). Very interesting home movie with Ginger and Paul

 

It sounds like it's being narrated by a ghost caught on tape.

I hate to say, but simply the title alone makes that video not appealing...( Kinda like "Mr Rogers talks Politics")

 

I was bored one day last week and began flipping thru Nexflix and saw it. I actually watched most of it to see how much worse it could get.

 

They're probably too scared.
